Celebrating 19 Years

We enjoyed a bit of time to chat over morning coffee before Brad started working, as well as a date night out to celebrate our anniversary this year. We had ice cream while looking at wedding photos to finish the day.

Father's Day

We celebrated Brad this year with lunch out at The Rackhouse after church, followed by watching the U.S. Open, apple crisp, pizza and movie night watching National Treasure.

Dog Sitting

Lorelei had a two week dog-sitting gig this summer, which is a great chance for her to save up for horse camp.

Boys Date

We told Makin we could make sure they fit in a date this month as a little break from the dogs. :) The boys went to play video games together.

Contacts

Lorelei decided to try wearing contacts! So far she is enjoying it!

Summer Fun - Drone Show, Learners Permit, Guinea Pig Sitting, Brad's Birthday, Adventure Saturday

Ice Cream and Drone Show

I found out there was a free drone show in the area so we enjoyed a treat while we waited for the sun to set. Such a beautiful night and the show was amazing.

Learners Permit

This girl got her learners permit and is excited for lots of driving training this summer!

Guinea Pig Sitting

Our house always feels a bit like a zoo when we sit any animals, but at least its temporary insanity. :) Lorelei was thrilled to guinea pig sit for a week!

Brad's Birthday

Brad took the day off and had a fun day. The boys had a chill morning at home (with plenty of Wii time) while Lorelei and I did her usual ManeGait gig. Then we headed to Grimaldi's pizza for lunch followed by a fun indoor putt putt place. Each room had a different theme and it was unlimited play so we tried all three courses. Then we headed home for cake and two movies, The Mighty Ducks and Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End.

Adventure Saturday

We headed up an hour out of town and enjoyed feeling a bit like we were on vacation. (It wasn't a full day because Brad needed to work after all the previously mentioned bday fun.) We also got to meet up with long-time friend Mitch and his family. We enjoyed coffee, putt putt, and a great burger place as well as catching up!
