Turning Point Meeting
Lorelei decided to check out the local Turning Point USA Chapter.
Celebrating A Friend
We went to the free dance lessons at the library to celebrate Juliet's birthday. We also had cupcakes afterward!
Mother/Son Friday Morning Date
We headed to Popstroke for a mother/son date and couldn't resist a special treat on the way!

| "Hit it right here mom...I didn't mean LITERALLY right there." |
AMAZING NEWS
While we couldn't meet with the surgeon officially for insurance reasons, our orthodontist (who is on the team with the surgeon) took imaging of Makin's mouth and told us that the bone graft was a success. This was such a relief as we would have had to scramble to find a new surgeon and fit in two surgeries within the year if it would not have been. WOW. So thankful. We should have a few years before more surgeries, which is such a relief.
He celebrated with Canes.
Woo Hoo!
The afternoon right after Makin's AMAZING NEWS was Lorelei's appointment to have her elbow dislocation checked on by the doctor at Scottish Rite. She got the approval to get back to normal!
Adventure Club at The Stockyards
(And Celebrating One Year!)
We ventured to The Fort Worth Stockyards for Adventure Club this month. We took in a museum and a historical walking tour before grabbing lunch and then taking on the cow-pen maze. We also celebrated one year of Adventure Club! This group is such an answer to prayer and I'm so thankful for them.
Can you believe the cowboys used this tiny tub? And that there was an option to save money by using used water!? |
| Another favorite was learning more about the Chuck Wagon. |
| Love the coffee story. |
| Makin and Kody did the scavenger hunt provided by the museum and there were a couple items they couldn't find, so a museum guide showed them. |
| A big crowd to watch the long horns mosey down the street. |
| These two enjoy many games of corn hole. |
| Love these adventurers! |
| One of our other favorites is seeing the train turntable. |
| We enjoyed our historical walking tour. |
| They all had fun doing the cow-pen maze. |
Pi Day
We celebrated Pi Day with a game day and pie with friends!
Nana's Visit
Nana made her usual spring break visit.
We...
Celebrated St. Patrick's day with our traditional Shamrock Shakes.
| Enjoyed a Canes Treat after L volunteering and some shopping. |
| Took in Cowboys and Clovers at Grandscape, which included music and Irish dancers. |
| Checked out Marty B's Coffee |
| Took a walk (and scooter) on the trails by the lake. |
Met up with Mom's friend and took in some gardens with spring blooms. Then we found a cute restaurant on the lake for lunch. |
| The Celtic Festival! |
Ran into a long-time friend's mom, Beth, who used to live in Hooker, while at the festival. We enjoyed getting to chat while listening to some amazing music and eating lunch. |
| The girls even got up to dance for one of the songs. |
It was quite toasty, so Watson really needed shade any chance we could find. In this case it was under a chair. When I asked if Watson was a hit with people at the festival Analise said, "Oh yeah, it was like walking with a celebrity." |
| We enjoyed a chance to watch Emma perform as a Highland Dancer. |
| This year's Celtic Festival Group. |
Brunch Out after church. Thanks for a great visit Nana! |
ManeGait
Lorelei was able to volunteer to help get volunteers. This is a great chance for her to share her passion for ManeGait with people, so she absolutely loves doing this.
Learners License
Makin is very excited to get driving. Here we go!
Celebrating
I loved a chance to celebrate Yasmine with breakfast out!
March Date
We headed to play putt putt at the PGA. Beautiful weather and time together.
Cutest Puppy... (See reason for title of this one on the third picture below!)
We had our second trip to the urgent vet since getting this pup. This time it was because he ate some carpet. Thankfully they discovered it should pass without surgery...but not without an Xray etc. Then he did get their "Cutest Puppy" award which will probably only encourage more trips to the urgent vet. ;) |
