It has been an ongoing conversation for at least a year now, and we finally bit the bullet and got Makin a bird. Most of my hesitation was because we like to travel and I do not like finding a bird sitter, but we have a few names on our list, so we decided we better give it a try. So far, the kids are having a lot of fun with him. Makin chose the name Frosty because he has white-tipped wings.
