We decided to surprise the kids with a fall getaway to a cabin in Broken Bow. If we could afford to do this every year we absolutely would! It is where we can get out of the city and relax and recharge. So thankful for this time together.
The weather called for rain so we headed up a bit early Sunday to fit in some golf. The boys could only fit in 9 holes but enjoyed the beautiful course. |
Found some fall gems! |
S'mores every night. :) |
Enjoyed as much hot tub time as we could fit in. |
The back porch was my absolute favorite. |
The firepit was his absolute favorite. ;) |
Enjoyed a game of horseshoes. |
Lunch one day was soup and sandwiches. |
Al fresco dining as much as possible! |
Loved the large game of Connect Four. |
Reading time! |
Brad even fit in some reading! |
Rainy day meant s'mores on the patio! |
Lorelei and I took in a scenic hike. |
You all know how much I love my sunsets! |
Doesn't get much better than this! |
This was a game the cabin had that Makin was so excited about. |
Backporch sunrise. |
Our last morning was spent watching the deer in the backyard! |
We took the scenic way home. |
And stumbled upon a little history field trip! |
