We all went together to drop Lorelei off at school and then we had our first Mom/Dad/Makin date! Which of course, meant a trip to Starbucks and then walking to the nearby playground for Makin to play while we enjoyed our treats. And naturally followed with a trip to Lowes for fertilizer? :) The day was a wonderful combination of fun and productivity (don't worry, Brad slept as late as possible before school and took a nap that afternoon) that was much needed to make up for the lack of it over the weekend!
Along with the yard-work, Brad completed a couple of playroom projects...slowly but surely...when they are teenagers the playroom should be done. ;) Feels so good to get a couple things done at least!!!
