Heather visited over a long weekend. The first day included a trip to Ikea, which Makin really enjoyed. Lorelei stayed home to get a chance to have a zoom call with her friend Anna.
We enjoyed another free activity and a new musical at Gateway church.
As we were driving home from the musical, we noticed the Joy Globes were still up and going, so we stopped by for a visit so that Heather and Brad could get an up-close look at them.
We enjoyed a rare Mom/Dad/Makin date out while Lorelei was at cotillion. It was nice to take a time-out from the busy and play Bananagrams at Starbucks.
The kiddos sewed reindeer ornaments.
We saw a few lights around the neighborhood one night. This one was a favorite! The reindeer's heads move in and out of the feeding trough!
We were so sad to see our "usual" singing house was no longer singing, but thankfully we had another special lights location we could check out.

We had a new book to read this year, and the kids LOVED that I FINALLY read a JK Rowling book!
SO much fun getting to play football with friends! They had the field to themselves almost the entire time!
