First Tball Game

We have two tball players this year. This season goes through June and half of July. Originally Lorelei chose to play soccer, but then we found out they only have it in the fall. She was given the option not to have an activity, but decided she would play tball again. Makin is thrilled his mom thinks 4 3/4 is close enough to 5 that he gets to play this year. :) The Y was very accommodating and agreed to put them on the same team. Guess who is the littlest? :) He is holding his own though, and is still a natural athlete. Amazing to this mom.

Brad and I have to chuckle as we watch these two play. Lorelei literally skips up to the plate. She is more confident than last year, but Brad is working on teaching her not to throw like a girl. :) Makin plays really hard during the whole game. He is in love with the cleats he bought for himself at a garage sale believing they will help him run even faster. :) After our first practice I asked what they enjoyed about it. Lorelei said, "The snack!" :) Makin said, "Everything, I can't even pick one thing because it was so great." When I asked him how he liked his first game he said, "Good! It was easy!"
