March Memory-Making Moments

Half Birthdays

March brings the halfway point! We now have a 14 1/2-year-old and 12 1/2-year-old. We celebrated their days with the treat of their choosing.

Decorating Progress

This girl has been waiting patiently for us to work on making her room theme into what she would love - a Hogwarts Dormitory look. We spontaneously stopped in at a resale shop and she was so excited to find a wardrobe...making progress on her decorating dreams!

New-To-Us Firepit

Our much-loved firepit died about a year ago and we decided it was time to go ahead and get another one. We decided to go for a wood-burning firepit this time around and are loving some nights with family time around the fire on the patio!

New Library

We were so excited to check out the new library!

Before they moved libraries they encouraged us to take lots of books home to lighten to load of moving. We had SO many to return that first trip. :)

Vacation Weekend

We didn't go anywhere but gave ourselves a recharge weekend where we ate out more than usual and made sure to set aside some more time for fun.

Nana's Spring Visit

We enjoyed our time with Nana!

 - Lorelei enjoyed telling her all about the camp she is currently saving up for. (Pic on left.)

Back To The Future In the Theater!

Nana brought us sugar cookies to frost! So Yum!

Checking out Lorelei's Newest HP book.

That time Makin shot Nana in the toe and the picture captured it perfectly...

Puzzle Time!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

That time we tried to go to an Irish Pub on St. Pat's day but it was a 2 hour wait...
and then we decided to leave because there were many people having too much to drink...

Shamrock Shakes!

Complicated Puzzle Complete...except for that one piece that was missing.

Girl time while the boys went to Brickfest...which included a Cookie Society treat.

Brickfest

Brad and Makin enjoyed a chance to check out some awesome Lego creations. :)

He followed instructions to assemble a tile to contribute to the floor mural.
(Pic of that coming up...this was part of Iron Man's fist.)

More Legos

Makin enjoyed switching out his Lego bonsai tree to the spring season as well as making a Rubik's cube engineering project (he found how to make it online) to bring to Lego Club.
