The kids had lots of fun using glue and glitter on some pine cones. Even Makin did great! Aubrey and Morgan came over in the evening and joined in on the messy fun. (We had two nights with friends this week, so each set of parents got a chance to Christmas shop together.) Lorelei said, "It making mess mom." And I explained that glitter is supposed to be like that, so then she explained to her friends too. Thanks for the idea Melissa!
Fun! And I love the idea of kid-swapping so you can Christmas shop. (Spoken from someone who has only managed to leave Leah with a grandmother once for about an hour. Maybe that'll be my New Year's resolution!)
