Although it has been a pretty cold winter (for Texas) we did have a few warm days. We seized the chance to head to the lake and invited Lorelei's 4th grade class.

I am thankful for our Mondays of hula and drums. Even though I don't always feel excited for an evening "to do" the kids both love it. Lorelei has the added bonus of friend time with Jaedynn during Makin's drums class.
We headed to another school field trip and got a chance to learn more about electricity and trains. This museum is in an original electric train station and included a historic train car that was originally built in 1911.

We have loved the movies in this series, so when we heard a new one was coming out in February we were so excited. We made sure to choose the first two movies of the series for movie night the Sundays before the release date so it was all fresh and we were connected to the characters. We all loved it and enjoyed our special Sunday afternoon at the movies as a family.
