Labor Day Trip To Urgent Care

You know how kids always manage to get injured when everything is closed? Well, thrown into our Labor Day weekend was making a trip to Urgent Care.

We had our day packed with "to dos" (we didn't do much the two days before, so that was why our Monday was an actual "labor day" :) ) and Makin was going his usual full-speed-ahead when he spun around and whacked his head on the doorknob of the linen closet in the hallway...naturally. I looked at the crying boy expecting to see a goose egg when instead I saw an eyebrow full of blood. We assessed the situation and Brad decided he needed to go in for possible stitches. Makin wanted ALL of us there for moral support. Guess this means Lorelei gets to go to VB for his next surgery. :)

The DR said if it had been anywhere other than his eyebrow he would have done one real stitch (yuck!) so we are thankful he managed to get the cut right on his eyebrow and only needed liquid stitches! God bless the inventor of liquid stitches!!! :)

A little "glue" and we were on the road...to McDonalds...Brad offered him a consolation prize of a trip to McDonalds. :)

Glad our little man was tough for his latest injury!

And yes, this was before Lorelei's bday but I only had pics on my phone...so sorry for going out of order!!! :)
