Had to wear our Huskers shirts on Thursday for the game that night. Of course I slept on the couch through most of it, but Brad enjoyed watching them! :)

We had a fun MOMS outing Friday morning. We did coffee at Starbucks where the children got to play since there was a good sized patio. Only three moms showed up, but that is still fun, plus an excuse for another pumpkin spice latte! Lorelei shared her toys and books we brought along very well. :) Then we headed to Carters because it was close enough to walk and the other moms had not been there yet! Then we made a quick trip to the park nearby to let the kids play. Needless to say it was a late nap day for us, but we had a great time. Lorelei was able to play with friends Kira and Chase at the park as well. Such fun! The picture in the green swing is a swing they have at most parks here. It is specially made for handicapped children, but it is the swing ALL the children want to sit in! Its basically a swinging recliner for them. :) Then there are also some musical bars Lorelei is playing with. Kira and Chase are on the other side. Not too easy getting three kids to look at the camera! We are looking forward to another fun weekend!
One fun story. I was making supper the other day and got Lorelei a pot and wooden spoon (what I was using) to play with on the floor. She picked it up and was trying to put it up on the stove to cook just like me! Just one of those awe moments for me.
Have been slacking with this lately but will try to do better...
Low: a long to do list that keeps getting longer
Highs: lots of park time, finally finding a Halloween costume...on the 4th try!, finding out the pumpkin pie blizzard is back at DQ, the month of October having so much fun stuff to do
