What to say about our little man at this age...we know him so much better! And he makes each day a little brighter with his gigantic smiles. I finally feel like we can tell what he needs and what he is trying to tell us, and have a bit more of a feel of his little personality.
At three months:
- Sleep - sleeps mostly through the night. Had us fooled for a few days and was making it until about 4 am each morning, but now seems to be getting up once more around 1 as well. But not too bad. Naps...about 30 min to 1hrish in the morning, unless we are out, then he sleeps much of the time in his car seat. Then if only a short nap can sleep about 3 hrs in the carseat on the dryer in the afternoon. He stays awake on average about 2-3 hrs at a time before getting tired for at least a quick nap. Pretty well out for the night around 8 pm.
- Eating - Is now eating about 6 oz every 4 hours. Middle of night its about 3-4 oz because he falls asleep. :)
- Is starting to wear 6 month clothing, but still fits in three if its just a onesie or something that doesn't need to reach his feet (like sleepers).
- Holds head a bit steady, but still on the wobbly side. Not quite ready for the bumbo or turning around in the Bjorn yet.
- Very good temperament overall, potential to have a laid back little guy when we get his naps figured out. :) He wakes up extremely smiley in the morning and pretty happy much of the morning. He is very patient and is pretty happy in the bouncy seat or play mat while we have to get things done.
- Likes to suck on his hand. Still seems undecided whether or not he wants a paci, but tolerates it since I keep sticking it in his mouth. :)
- Still loves to hold hands. I predict he will be one of those toddlers with a Hotwheel car in each hand. :)
- Loves to watch people around him, especially his energetic big sister. Likes to sit upright on moms lap to "play" with her.
