Spray Park and Nature Walk

We were thankful for a some-what cooled off day, and no rain (the forecast looked a bit grim for a while with every day being rain) so we headed to Frisco Commons to try out the Spray Park. The kids had fun there for about 30 minutes. Lorelei was even brave enough to stand and wait for a bucket to dump on her head. Afterwards she said, "I think I don't like that one, Mommy." Makin was a little cautious at first, but got a bit braver. The favorite for both kids were the spray guns. It didn't last as long as we hoped, but we are thinking they may have more fun with friends or when its warmer.

So, we headed to check out the trail that goes around the pond. The kids loved exploring and walking through the trees. They liked to stop at each sign which told what kind of tree/leaf it was in front of. We were thrilled when we stopped at one area of the pond and a lady handed us some of her bread to feed the turtles! :) There were at least 6 and they were so fun to watch, along with the fish.

Wonderful way to spend the day. :)
