Grandma and Grandpa Stahl

Well, we can't say enough about how much all these grandkids love their grandparents. Pretty lucky bunch of kids I'd say, and we are so glad to have them witness the 40th celebration and see such a strong marriage in their grandparents! :)

Grandpa. Well he was a bit busy this trip getting some planting done, but he still managed to get in some good time with Lorelei and Makin. My favorite moment was Lorelei helping him make scrambled eggs. She got to crack her own eggs, which naturally involved some shell in the process. :) I loved hearing them talk through the whole process. :) She also got some stories read and Makin enjoyed having him tote him around a bit.


And you can probably tell by Grandma's reaction she was pretty thrilled to see these far-away grandkids again. She loved getting lots of play time with Lorelei, including lots of cups of "tea" at Lorelei's request. And she and Makin got lots of good time together, including their nap while we were in Fort Collins.


We are so blessed to have you both in our lives and so glad we were there to celebrate and surprise the heck out of you. :) Thanks for a wonderful family week!
