Well our Monday got off to an interesting start when I got the kids and myself all ready (quite an accomplishment in itself) to head out and buckled in when the car would not start. After a quick call to Brad to verify it was the battery, we had to have a big change in plans for the day.
It actually turned out to be a fun morning because, since we were already bundled up and Makin had fallen asleep in his car seat, we just moved him to the stroller and took a walk. Lorelei also spotted the soccer ball in the back so we took that along and did some kicking as well. Really a much better morning than it would have been going to two stores for errands!
Brad got to change the battery in the dark of course, but it was quite funny watching Lorelei with all the evening excitement going on.
Then as soon as the car started she exclaimed "a;slkdjfakjfd (some words I didn't understand) and then STORE!" with her hands in the air. :) That's what you have to love about kids, they make even changing a car battery amusing and exciting. :)
