Some Down Time

Our family was in much need of some down time, so Sunday ended up being one of those do nothing kind of chilly cold days. Well, as much as you can do nothing with Lorelei in the house anyway...we were also hoping that we could give her some major one on one in hopes to cut down on the tantrums for the day.

First thing in the morning Lorelei was determined to get out and play in her sandbox. We insisted she at least get dressed since it was so cold out and that she would have to go by herself because we were not dressed to go out with her. So, she got dressed and then showed off her John Deere hat for us before heading out. This was all before 8 AM of course. :) Daylight savings extra hour does not exist in this house for another 10 years or so I'd imagine...




"Lets get a picture with your eyes open..." So she makes sure to shut them of course...

















Enjoying some outdoor time bundled up.



















We even got in our first Thanksgiving craft...she was thrilled to use glue to make her turkey.

Lets just say a one day weekend is NOT enough, but its better than nothing. :)
