Well we don't have any chestnuts...but we do love having fires in the fireplace!
This is our first one this winter (fall, whatever, it feels like winter) and we are enjoying it this morning. We have already come to the conclusion that, although Lorelei has stayed away from it very well and seems to realize it is hot, it is a bit more hassle having it going during the day because we have to have our eyes on her every second, just to be safe. It did a great job warming up the apt this morning though!
