After dropping Brad off and running in for a record-breaking Walmart trip, we headed to gymnastics. (Notice with the beautiful weather I just keep managing to pack more stuff into one day??) Lorelei had a great time, as usual. She enjoyed practicing kart-wheels and did better than ever on the balance beam. We also discovered an absolutely wonderful park very near the gym, so headed there for a bit after class. Will be going back, weather permitting, after the rest of her classes. They have spring break next week, so will have a week off before her last two.
When we went to pick up Brad we couldn't resist a little more park time. We tried out yet another new park near work. Makin took on his first rock wall (several times and got better and better!) and loved going down a bumpy, curvy slide to Dad! Lorelei was a big fan of climbing up the tunnel (not a slide, just a tunnel)...a new challenge. I can speak from experience as I had to climb up it while pushing Makin up it...glad the camera was in MY pocket. :) Loved adding a little extra fun this evening.
What fun to have a double park day! And Makin looks so big climbing up that rock wall by himself!
